Common Name The Yellow Lipped Acanthophippium

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in western Sumatra in shrub forests at elevations around 800 meters as a large sized, warm growing terrestrial with nearly cylindrical, narrowing towards the apex pseudobulbs carrying broadly elliptic, acuminate, basally narrowing into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, appearing as the pseudobulbs arise, to 6" [15 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence
