Common Name The Bracteate Acianthus

Found in southeastern New Caledonia on Mt Mou at elevations around 1100 to 1150 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying a single, 3 to 5 lobed, rarely entire, cordate, acute to acuminate leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
