Common Name The Cymbidium-Like Leaved Acianthus

Flower Size .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm]

Found only in New Caledonia in dense rainforests on rocky ground at elevations of 100 to 900 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect, light green stem carrying a single, ovate, deeply cordate, erose margined leaf held a third of the way up the stem from the ground that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, terminal, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence
