Found in Colombia, may be a synonym of A beyrodtiana, with oblong-elliptic, slightly compressed, shallowly ridged and grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, broadly ovate-elliptic, acuminate, attenuate below into the subpetiolate base leaves that blooms on a pendent, peduncle to 6" [15 cm] long, rachis to 22" [55 cm] long, laxly 15 to 17 flowered inflorescnece with ovate, obtuse, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying showy, fleshy, fragrant flowers
