Acineta confusa Schltr. 1917 Lectotype Drawing by © Schlechter

Common Name The Confusing Acineta

Flower Size

Schlechter did not give a location for this sspecies but it most likely comes from somewhere in Central America and blooms ona pendent, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, rachis 4.4" [11 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, subacute, somewhat shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying yellow flowers with red spotting on the interior.
