Common Name The Graceful Acriopsis

Found in Sabah Borneo in open stunted kerangis forests and hill forests at elevations of 300 to 600 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1 cm between each, olive green, wrinkled, ovoid pseduobulb carrying 2 to 3, linear, obtuse leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a basal, simple, decurved to pendulous, dark green, 8 to 16.8" [20 to 42 cm] long, rachis, [10 to 17 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with 3 to 4 basal, purple sheaths and a solitary purple sterile bract half way up and acute, pink to purple floral bracts.
