Found in southern Sumatra at elevations around 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, basally branching, pendulous, leafy apically stem carrying spreading, linear, almost terete, channeled above, abruptly narrowing apically leaves that blooms in the summer on sometimes 2, very short, more or less sessile, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying slightly fragrant flowers
