Found in central Madagascar in lichen & mossy forests at elevations of 450 to 2000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 4 to 6, linear to ligulate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect to spreading, shortly branched, to 16" [to 40 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
