Common Name or Meaning Lee's Aerides [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]

Flower Size 1/4" [.6 cm]

Found in the Philippines at medium elevations as a small to just medium sized, monopodial, cool to hot growing epiphyte with curved stems carrying many, lorate, leathery, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms with pendant, 16" to 46" [40 to 115 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence enveoloped by remote, tubular, ovate sheaths and ovate, acute, reflexed floral bracts carrying fragrant, waxy, long-lived flowers occuring in the spring.
