Common Name or Meaning Lee's Aerides [English Orchid Enthusiast 1800's]

Found in the Philippines at medium elevations as a small to just medium sized, monopodial, cool to hot growing epiphyte with curved stems carrying many, lorate, leathery, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the spring and fall with pendant, 16" to 46" [40 to 115 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence enveoloped by remote, tubular, ovate sheaths and ovate, acute, reflexed floral bracts carrying fragrant, waxy, long-lived flowers.
