Found in central Madagascar in humid, shady, evergreen forests at elevations of 1400 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte without a stem carrying 5 to 6, thick, rigid, glaucous green, ridged above, linear, acutely bilobed apically, narrowing below into the pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later spring on a pendent, shorter to as long as the leaves, peduncle slender 1 to 4" [2.5 to 10 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
