Found in southwestern Tanzania and northern Malawi in submoontane to montane forests at elevations of 1800 to 2100 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 4 to 8, leathery, oblanceolate, unequally to subequally bilobed apically, lobes acute, dark green with black spotted leaves that blooms in the spring on a descending, .6 to 1.6" [1.5 to 4 cm] long, densely to 12 flowered inflorescence
