Found in central Madagascar at elevations around 1180 to 1400 meters on wet rocks in mossy forests as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying narrowly ligulate, slightly bilobed leaves that blooms in the spring and early summer on a slender, pendant, 4.8 to 5" [12 to 13.5 cm] long, 7 to 9 flowered inflorescence
