Found in northern Madagascar in mossy montane forests at elevations around 1800 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with 5 to 7, leathery, linear leaves that blooms in the early summer on a spreading to pendent, simple to few branched, 2.4 to 5.6" [6 to 14 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence which can develop keikis as the flowers pass on
