Found in The Comoros in mossy cloud forests at elevations around 600 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with a fairly thick stem enveloped by foliaceous sheaths and carrying oblong-ligulate, pale green leaves that blooms in the late spring on an arching, to [65 cm] long, branched, several flowered inflorescence enveloped by dark brown, overlapping, bracts which creates keikis on its nodes.
