Flower Size

Found in the New Guinea in montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with unbranched to sparsely branched, slightly compressed, stem enveloped completely by the sheaths of the erect patent, ligulate, strongly oblique and obtusely pointed apically, narrowing basally into the subpetiolate base, glabrous, shiney below leaves and blooms in the early summer, fall and early winter on a short single flowered inflorescence arising through a cucullate, clasping, elliptic, apiculate, longer than the ovary spathe and has linear, apiculate, floral bracts.
