Found in New Guinea at elevations around 800 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a long decumbent rhizome giving rise to erect, simple to sometimes branching, somewhat compressed, densely leafy stems carrying erect-patent, thin, glabrous, ligulate, slightly oblique, obtuse to obtuse-apiculate, narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are golden sulphur yellow with a relatively large lip and has a thickened central keel near the apex.
