Found in Sumatra in the sultanate of Asahan at lower elevations as a large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a basally terete, compressed above, upper half leafy stem carrying narrowly ligulate-lanceolate, unequally acutely bilobed apically, thin leaves that blooms on a terminal, 1.4" [to 3.5 cm] long, peduncel with 3 sheaths, capitulum made of many sheaths and brascts, amny flowered inflorescence
