Found in Borneo, penninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and the Philippines in lowland and hill forests at elevations of 400 to 1200 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a flattened stem carrying 3 to 4 mostly basal, one apical, linear, elongated, acute, leaves on each side of the stem that blooms in the late winter and spring and mid summer through fall on a terminal, corymb-like [2.2 cm wide], many, 3 to 4 flowered each one, held in a zig-zag, inflorescence with triangular, concave, acute floral bracts.
