Common Name or Meaning The Large Flowered Agrostophyllum

Flower Size .56" [1.4 cm]

Found in Sumatra, Java and Borneo in montane forests at elevations of 600 to 2000 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with rather thin basally, thicker towards the apex, curving towards the apex stems carrying many, linear, grasslike, at an acute angle to the stem, minutely and unevenly bidentate apically leaves that blooms on a corymb of several, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence held in a 1.4 to 1.8" [3.5 to 4.5 cm] wide head of several to many flowers
