Common Name The Large Tailed Agrostophyllum

Found in New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Samoa and the Caroline Islands in rainforests at elevations of 40 to 730 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a leafy stem other than the base and carrying distichous, lanceolate, basally clasping leaves that blooms on a terminal, elongate, [8 to 17 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence held in sessile clusters arising from the axils of the imbricate, lanceolate bracts
