Common Name or Meaning The Mountain Agrostophyllum
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
This small sized, cool growing monopodial species is found in New Guinea on trees in the Finestre range at elevations around 1200 meters with an elongate, compressed, stem enveloped by clasping leaf sheaths carrying linear, conduplicate, apically bicuspidate leaves and blooms in the winter on a terminal, many, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence held in a head.
