Common Name or Meaning The Flat Stemmed Agrostophyllum
Flower Size .12 to .24" [3 to 6 mm]
Found in Assam, the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Nepal, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand Cambodia and Vietnam as a lean and weedy orchid with a fleshy flattened stem carrying 1 to 2, oblong leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a globose-capitate, densely many flowered, short inflorescence with fibrous-membraneous, lanceolate, subacute, brown floral bracts.
