Common Name or Meaning The Long-Leaved Agrostophyllum

Flower Size 1/3" [7.5 mm]

Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Borneo, the Moluccas and Sulawesi in lowlands and lower montane forests forests at elevations of sealevel to 1250 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm] between each leaf bearing stem carrying strap-shaped to narrowly oblong, minutely bidentate apically leaves that blooms in the late winter on a terminal, globose, successively many flowered head-like inflorescence with 4 to 5 open flowers at any one time .
