Common Name or Meaning The River-Loving Agrostophyllum
Flower Size 1/4" [1 cm]
A medium sized, hot growing epiphyte from Papua and New Guinea at elevations of 250 to 500 meters on large branches with humus and moss pads in primary rainforests with deep shade where it blooms in the late spring in nature on a downturned, terminal inflorescence arising from the apex of the distichous leaves, with a ball of successively opening flowers at the end encased by 4+, large brown bracts.
