Common Name or Meaning The Mayon Volcano Agrostophyllum

Found in Luzon the Philippines on forested slopes at elevations around 915 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect, compressed basally, transversely elliptic in crossestion, leafy in the upper half stem carrying 9, ligulate, obtuse to shallowly obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, nutant, subglobose, numerous bracted and sheathed, very densely many flowered inflorescence about .8" [2 cm] long, .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] wide and carrying white flowers.
