Common Name or Meaning The Sri Lanka Agrostophyllum

Found in Sri Lanka in tropical wet evergreen forests at elevations of 200 to 700 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, basally terete, compressed above, leafy throughout stem carrying linear, obtuse, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter and again in the early fall on a terminal, erect, nutant, capitulum composed of numerous bracts and sheaths, many flowered inflorescence.
