Common Name or Meaning Da Silva's Anacheilium [Brazilian Orchid Enthusiast current]

Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm]

Found in Bahia state of Brazil in Atlantic rainforests at elevations of 400 to 800 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with fusiform, funnel-shaped basally, laterally compressed, segmented apex pseudobulb carrying 2 to 3, apical, subcoriaceous, oblanceolate, cymbidiform, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, arising through a spathe, erect, 4.4" [11 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate flowers.
