Found in eastern Madagascar in humid rainforests at low elevations as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a pendent, stem carrying 2 ranked, narrowly oblong, unequally bilobed apically rounded lobes, thin, margins undulate towards the base, basally rounded and amplexicaul leaves that blooms in the mid summer through early winter on axillary, peduncle very short, provided with a bract, single flowered inflorescence
