Common Name or Meaning The Short Angraecum [refers to the plants size]

Found in northern Madagascar on lichen covered trees at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem with flattened, somtimes verrucose roots and carrying greyish green, stiff, leathery, ligulate, unequally bilobed apically, basally overlapping leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an axillary, .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescnece enveloped by 2 to 3, slightly flattened sheaths.
