Found in Reunion in semi-arid forests at elevations of 1700 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an elongate, usually strongly curved stem carrying 5 to 6, two ranked, towards the apex of the stem, linear, stiff, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the early summer on an basal, erect, thin, 1 to 2, flowered inflorescence.
