Found in eastern Madagascar at elevations of 900 meters and up as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with a stiff, thin stem carrying linear-ligulate leaves that blooms in the early summer on an as long as the leaves, 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long, 2 to 2 flowered inflorescence with small floral bracts
