Found in Grand Comoros in montane forests at moderate elevations as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short, erect stem carrying 3 to 4, oblong to oval-oblong, flat leaves that blooms in the spring on a slender, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, 12 to 15 flowered inflorescence all held in the apical quarter
