Found in central Madagascar among mosses on twigs at elevations around 1400 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with no to almost no stem and 3 to 4, narrow, keeled along the dorsal side, entire and subobtuse apically leaves that blooms in the mid summer on a slender, longer than the leaves, 2" [5 cm] long, 1 to 3, successively flowered inflorescence with short obtuse bracts.
