Common Name or Meaning The Mauritius Angraecum [Found in the Mascarene Islands]

Found on the islands of Madagascar and the Mascarenes in forests near the ground at elevations of 200 to 1400 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphytic species with a arching to pendant, flattened, branched stem carrying numerous, distichous, oblong-lanceolate leaves that blooms in late spring, summer and early fall on a short inflorescence and carrying a solitary pure white, rather fleshy flower.
