Found in northeastern Madagascar at elevations of 100 to 500 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a round, rigid stem enveloped by striate and warty sheaths carrying many, spreading, rigid, narrowly linear, incurved marginally appearing terete, subacute leaves that blooms on an axillary, slender, stiff, 1.8 to 2.2" [4.5 to 5.5 cm] long, mostly single flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION!!! Many references cite this species as a synonym of A conchoglossum. It is an ambiguous species as the type has been destroyed.
