Found in northeastern Madagascar as a miniature to small sized epiphyte with a round rigid stem enveloped by striate and warty sheaths carrying many, spreading, rigid, narrowly linear, incurved marginally appearing terete, subacute leaves that blooms on an axillary, slender, stiff, 1.8 to 2.2" [4.5 to 5.5 cm] long, mostly single flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION!!!Many references cite this species as a synonym of A conchoglossum. It is an ambiguous species as the type has been destroyed.
