Common Name The Mussel-Carrying Angraecum
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in Madagascar on tree trunks in mossy forests at elevations around 1200 to 1550 meters as a miniature to just medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, stem carrying numerous, distichous, widely linear, unequally obtuse apically leaves that blooms in the spring on numerous, axillary, 2 1/4" [5.5 cm] long, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
