Found in Madagascar on tree trunks in mossy montane forests at elevations around 1200 to 1550 meters as a miniature to just medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect, stem carrying numerous, distichous, widely linear, unequally obtuse apically leaves that blooms in the spring through fall on numerous, axillary, 2 1/4" [5.5 cm] long, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
