Found in northeastern Madagascar in shady forests at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature to just small sized, warm growing epiphyte with almost no stem carrying 4 to 5, narrowly linear, canaliculate on the top surface, rounded below, unequally bilobed apically, acute leaves that blooms in the early summer on a below the leaf, lax, shorter than the leaves, 2.4 to 4" [6 to 10 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with oval, green bracts carrying fleshy flowers
