Found in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and Zaire in primary rainforests in deep shade at elevations up to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with pendant to upwards curving, flattened stems, carrying distichous, 2 ranked, glossy dark green, deciduous, bilaterally compressed, lanceolate to oblong, acute leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on various, opposite the leaves, axillary, .04 to .12" [1 to 1.5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence
