Found in central east Madagascar in shady, humid, highland forests at elevations around 1200 to 1650 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendant stem carrying 4 to 6,semi-terete, channeled leaves that blooms in the spring on an axillary, 2" [5 cm] long, including the 1" [2.5 cm] long ovary, single flowered inflorescence
