Common Name or Meaning The Outstanding Angraecum

Found in southern and western coastal Madagascar in sandy dry woods at an elevation of sealevel to 820 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte with a robust stem carrying leathery, stiff, sickle to falcate shaped, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late spring through fall on a lax, axillary, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, 8 to 10 flowered inflorescence with deltiod bracts.
