Found in east central and eastern Madagascar on branches in mossy forests at elevations of 960 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying to 10, distichous, flat, elliptical, undulate-pleated, recurved margins, exteriorly provided with a very projecting wing leaves that blooms in the summer and earlier fall on 1 to 2, axillary, peduncle .06" [1.5 mm] long, enveloped by 3, loose, apiculate sheaths, the uppermost cobers the base of the cucculate, apiculate floral bract, single flowered inflorescence
CAUTION Perrier in his description says that the plant is single flowered so please use with caution!!!!!
