Found in central Madagascar among mosses on tree trunks at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a stemless, 3 to 4, shortly tapering towards both ends leaves that blooms in the summer on a peduncle .52 to 1.6" [1.3 to 4 cm] long, 1 to 3" [2.5 to 7.5 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
