Found in central Madagascar among mosses on tree trunks at elevations around 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with no stem and 3 to 4, shortly tapering towards both ends leaves that blooms intrhe summer on a 1 to 3" [2.5 to 7.5 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
