Found in eastern Republic of Congo in montane and evergreen forests and the bamboo zone at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 5 to 9, erect, conduplicate, linear to oblong leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary, slender, 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white to pale green flowers.
