Found in central Madagascar at elevations around 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect to pendent stems carrying linear-ligulate, somewhat attenuate towards the base, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the mid summer on a shorter than the leaves, [8 to 12 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with oval, shortly apiculate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish white flowers
