Common Name The Chapa Anoectochilus - In China Dian Yue Jin Xian Lan
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in southeastern Yunnan province of China and northern Vietnam in dense forests at elevations of 1300 to 1400 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid with an ascending to erect stem carrying 4 to 5, abaxially pale green, adaxially blackish green with golden red venation, ovate, oblique, acute apically, narrowing into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, 6" [15 cm] long, successive flowering inflorescence with several, non-resupinate flowers.
