Common Name or Meaning The White Lines Anoectochilus - in Thailand Ueang din siam

Found in Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia in seasonal evergreen forests and evergreen hill forests on granite or sandstone bedrock in shaded humus rich ground at elevations of 700 to 1850 meters as a small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, dark green to brown, with pink to whitish reticualtion above, pink overall beneath, obliquely ovate-elliptic to elliptic, acute to subacuminate, mucronate, shortly petiolate leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, glanular-pubescent, 5" [to 12.5 cm] long, 3 to 13 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-oblong to ovate-lanceolate, 1 veined, pubescent on the dorsal side bracts.
