Common Name The Kinabalu Anoectochilus [A mountain in northern Borneo]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in northern Borneo in hill and lower montane forests in leaf litter in deep shade at elevations of 800 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with 3 to 4, broadly ovate, slightly obtuse to apiculate, velutinous, dark blackish green, pink to gold nerved, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, shortly pubescent, 2.4 to 4.8" [6 to 12 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
