Common Name The Siantan Aphyllorchis [an area of west Kalimantan Borneo]

Found in west Sumatra at elevations around 1300 meters as a medium szied, cool growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a short, vertical rhizome gioving rise to an erect, light green with purple streaks, rachis to 6" [15 cm] long, scaly, to 21.5" [53 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with oblong, obtuse, scaly floral bracts.
