Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in Thailand, Vietnam and southern China in thick decaying humus in dense forests at elevations around 1200 to 2000 meters as a large to giant sized, cool growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial orchid with an erect stem provided with tubular, acute sheaths and no leaves that blooms in the late spring, summer and early fall on an erect, to 20" [50 cm] long, several to many [to 25] flowered inflorescence with longer than the flowers floral bracts.
