Found in Malayasia and Borneo in lowland forests as a large sized, hot to warm growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with whitish with purple streaked stems carrying several short, acute apex sheaths only the lower ones basally tubular, that blooms on an erect, rachis 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence with reflexed white with purple lines, narrow slightly shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers with the teplas purple lines, the lip with a basal, purple median line and a column with a yellow apex.
